Infor Employees School Building Project - First Major Milestone Accomplished
In
continuation to our communication on 21st May 2012 about the School
Building Project we are happy to inform that yesterday 10 June 2012, first
major milestone has been accomplished by successfully completing the first roof
laying work of Infor School Building. After
the final Quality Check, work started at 11
AM and was completed by 6 PM.
There were
many challenges due to heavy wind and rain the previous day night, there was no
power till today morning, gravel shortage, unable to access the site due to
fallen branches / trees on roads, slushy soil in and around the site. Due to power failure, water was a major problem.
Though it
was very cloudy all through, it did not rain in this village, it was rain in
neighbouring villages just a couple of kilometres away
during the day, so it is very clear that God’s decision was in favour of
a noble deed by Inforians and the roof laying was a Success in spite of so many
hurdles.

Shankusthapana of “Infor Employees School Project”
The Shankusthapana of “Infor Employees School Project”
along with Vanamahotsav was a very big success.
All the volunteers coordinated very well and set out on a
memorable journey on 15th April 2012.
For all the participants the
day started as early as 3:30 AM in the morning and the best thing is that all
were on time all through the pick up points which itself is a major
achievement.
Two vehicles full of volunteers set off to a remote village
which is about 170 KM away from Hyderabad.
School children were eagerly waiting
for us to give us a warm welcome. The team headed straight to the venue and
participated in the Shankusthapana program. Each of the volunteers got an
opportunity to plant a sapling on this memorable day. Later the children
showcased their talents to the visiting team, the team was very impressed and
touched by their performances.
Here are some glimpses of this memorable event:
